Developing Artist-Centric Tools and Infrastructure for 3D Printing

This talk is a discussion on research and experiments made so far in the process of developing a voxel based 3D model slicing engine for 3D printing. This would ease the restrictions that artists are faced with over what sorts of meshes are 3D printable, to be more in line with familiar art related best practice.

This talk includes an overview of other tools in the Voxelpress project, and discusses better integration with Blender to provide a seamless 3D printing experience to the end user.
