The members of the Eevee/Viewport module have been working on migration from OpenGL to Vulkan. The presentation will start by giving an overview of the project, and will slowly move into an in-depth session explaining the challenges of implementing Vulkan inside an application like Blender.
Jeroen has been involved with Blender since 2008. First as a volunteer contributor, later full time where he works in many areas and projects, but mostly everything from texturing, rendering & compositing. His mission is to make Blender as interactive as possible.
Last year he has been lead developer for the Vulkan integration in Blender.
