This presentation will look at the ways in which Sim-Plates is changing the way that car process is shot for virtual production.
Car Process is the method of shooting driving scenes against an LED Wall/Volume or green screen, which is traditionally done with captured plates. Sim-Plates.com create all our plates in 3D using Blender, which has several advantages over traditionally shot plates.
In this talk Mike will cover the advantages of CG driving plates and look at some of the techniques that Sim-Plates use in Blender to create them.
