Brent Patterson is a multimedia artist and professor of art and design at SUNY Buffalo State in Buffalo, New York. His work and research covers a wide range of topics from urbanism and politics to pedagogy and free and open source advocacy. Patterson works in video, animation, installation art, and other traditional media. His work has exhibited in Seattle, Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Charleston, WV, and Buffalo, NY.
