We have been experimenting with using Blender with various AI pipelines and developing a custom (free) add-on. We'd like to showcase an open solution for generating tileable materials with PBR channels,
inpainting of missing texture parts directly on 3d models, and hopefully more.
During this talk, I'd like to also summarize other efforts in the Blender community at using AI.
I've been an active part of Blender community for ~20 years, both on artists, and also on the coder side (mainly developing free add-ons). In the past few years, I decided I'd like to do Blender Add-on development full-time. BlenderKit Library is the solution I found to achieve this goal, where things can remain free but also sustainable.
