I’m an independent engineer, working as a developer and multimedia designer, using 3D software for more than 25 years (I started with an Atari computer!). I’m also professor in my former engineering school, the Ecole Centrale (in Lille, North of France), teaching artificial intelligence, multimedia communication, and 3D modeling with Blender. I added a few months ago to this last course a new module “3D printing with Blender” for the FABLAB de Lille.

My special interest is in Astronautics and in science popularization of space prospective. I worked on many projects with the French Space Agency (CNES), and in 2011 for instance, with a friend retired from the CNES, Pierre Marx, we invented “Apogeïos”, a plausible concept of space city according with today’s technology. This project – fully designed with Blender – won the 2011 “Architecture and Space Design Award" of the Jacques Rougerie Foundation (Institut de France) and was presented in the March 2013 issue of the French magazine of science popularization “Science et Vie Junior”.
