Jason Schleifer has over 27 years experience in the Animation Industry as a Creative Director, Supervising Animator, Entrepreneur, character technical director, and pipeline enthusiast. Currently, Jason is at AWS as the Creative Director of an internal production studio named FuzzyPixel where he works with a small team to test and experiment with new ways of creating animated content using cloud technology. Before AWS, Jason was co-founder of Nimble Collective (acquired by AWS in 2019), at Dreamworks Animation as Head of Animation (Peabody & Sherman, Megamind), Supervising animator (Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa) and Animator (Madagascar, Penguins Christmas Caper, Over the Hedge, Shrek the Third). and at Weta Digital for the Lord of the Rings Trilogy as both a Character Technical Director and Animator.

Jason lives in a remote region of New Zealand with his wife, kids, dogs, and lots of cool native birds.
